DiviFlash is a relatively new plugin that extends the Divi Builder (check out our review) in some meaningful ways.
It adds modules, landing page templates and module layouts to the already feature-packed page builder.
But is it any good? Is it worth the price and how easy is it to work with?
We spent a long time with both the Divi Builder and DiviFlash to find out.

Key features of DiviFlash
DiviFlash has plenty to offer, including 43 modules, 16 landing page layouts, gallery modules, carousels, Divi layouts and other useful page building tools.
Most are genuinely useful, not filler modules or simple layouts added just to make up the numbers.
DiviFlash modules
Some of the modules include:
- Advanced headings – Make default headings more engaging with extra design options, colours, fonts and styles.
- Advanced blurb – Make product and service boxes more interesting with extra images, icons, badges and buttons.
- Business hours – A small but important module that gives you complete freedom over how you communicate opening hours with visitors.
- Content toggle – More innovative ways to include content on a page without interrupting the user journey.
- Typing text – Add animations and effects to website content to grab attention and make it stand out on the page.
- Post grid – Use a very popular blog layout in new ways, including animations, layout settings, rounded edges and more.
- Advanced carousel – Showcase key products and services with a smooth-flowing carousel you can customize as you see fit.
- Packery Image Gallery – This module adds 10 predefined gallery layouts with the tools to customize everything you see on the page.
- Hover box – Hover boxes are simple but effective ways to draw attention to calls to action or other areas of a page. DiviFlash offers a few attractive options.
- Before and after slider – Before and after sliders are great for storytelling and show and tell. DiviFlash provides a few options to do that on your pages.
- Scroll images – Scroll images are animations that enable you to show wide or tall images within a standard frame. Another useful way to attract attention.
- Product grid - If you’re running an online store, the product grid module helps you show off your products in a number of attractive ways to help conversion.
- Filterable CPT - Filterable CPT (Custom Post Types) enables you to build product portfolios, showcases and other displays complete with filters a reader can use to refine results.

DiviFlash layouts
DiviFlash also comes with some landing page layouts you can import and use alongside your standard Divi template.
There are 16 in all right now and many reflect the same design philosophy as Divi templates.
They are clean, colourful and well-designed. They import in a few seconds and can be fully customized using the Divi Builder and DiviFlash.
There’s a bunch of niches covered with the default layouts and you can tweak each to fit other niches as required.
If you’re already familiar with the Divi Builder or page builders in general, you won’t have a problem with that.
Check out all the DiviFlash layouts here.
Module Demo Layouts
Finally, there are some module demo layouts that take some of the standalone modules and creates a series of formatted examples you can import onto a page.
These are complete elements, like a whole business hours section that has already been designed complete with an image.
Just select a layout from the website, download it and import it using Divi Builder.

DiviFlash installation
DiviFlash is a WordPress plugin and installs in the usual way. You will need a license key to make it work as DiviFlash is a premium product.
- Buy DiviFlash from the website and complete the purchase
- Access your account page and select Downloads
- Download the DiviFlash zip file
- Select Licenses in the DiviFlash account area
- Copy your license key
- Open the WordPress dashboard
- Select Plugins and Add New
- Select Upload Plugin and Browse for the DiviFlash zip file
- Select Install Now and wait for WordPress to load the plugin
- Select Activate when you see the option
You should now see a new DiviFlash menu entry on the left side of your WordPress dashboard.
This is where the fun begins!
- Select DiviFlash and License
- Paste your key into the box and select the Activate License button
- You should then see License Status change to Active
- Save changes and installation is complete!
You can now browse all the options and select any of the modules and layouts!
One great thing about DiviFlash is that if you have used Divi Builder, it works in exactly the same way.
All modules can be added from within the builder and any templates or layouts you import can also be accessed from there.
For those who haven’t used Divi Builder before, there’s a slight learning curve but nothing too difficult.
Using DiviFlash
Now DiviFlash is set up, select Modules from the DiviFlash menu to see what’s available.
You’ll see a page full of modules that you can toggle on and off as required.
This is a great touch. You can toggle them all on to explore, then turn off all those you end up not using.
While a little thing, the fewer tools you have enabled on your back end, the less work your database has to do to keep the site running.
Just select a module to toggle it on or off.
Select Save Changes once you’re done otherwise the settings revert back to how they were.
Once you’re ready to build, open a page with Divi Builder, select to add a new module and you’ll see those added by DiviFlash among the default options.
You’ll notice a small white graphic on the grey background for all the modules added by DiviFlash. Standard modules have a plain grey background.
Add your module, select it to customize the look and feel and select Save at the bottom right as usual.
That’s how easy it is to use a DiviFlash module!
Using a premade template
One excellent resource within DiviFlash are the premade layouts.
For example, you want a landing page for a new product launch but don’t want to mess with your current website.
You’ll need to navigate to the DiviFlash website, identify a template you want to use and download it to your computer.
Then you can create a new page within WordPress and use the Divi Library to import a template.
Like this:
- Visit the DiviFlash website, select a layout and download it
- Select Divi and Divi Library from the WordPress dashboard
- Select Import & Export at the top of the page
- Select Import from the popup that appears
- Select the template you downloaded and then Choose File
- Select the blue Import Divi Builder Layouts button at the bottom of the popup
Your template should now be listed on the Layouts page and the template will be available in the Divi Library.
This isn’t the most intuitive way to use premade resources but it works.
It would be much easier if you could select them from within DiviFlash like you can with the Divi Builder, but this is how it is for now.
Using a module layout
As we mentioned earlier, DiviFlash provides dozens of premade layouts featuring popular modules.
They can save time and provide inspiration to level up your website in some creative ways.
They work the same as templates, you’ll need to download a module from the website, upload it using the import function we outlined above and you’ll be able to select it from within the Divi Builder.
Just remember to save any changes you make to the page before leaving!
Some of the designs are pretty good and reflect many of the readymade website templates Divi provides.
DiviFlash settings
DiviFlash is an install and forget plugin. Once you have enabled the modules you need and imported any demos you want to use, that’s pretty much it.
There are some extra settings you may want to play around with though.
Select DiviFlash and Dashboard to see them all.
You have the option to enable SVG and JSON uploads, enable shortcodes for the Divi Library and enable or disable ACF support.
There are also a couple of key menu controls in the Menu Extension Settings tab. Make sure to check those if you want to tweak your menu.
We didn’t need to play around with the Import/Export Settings as the defaults worked fine.
DiviFlash compatibility
DiviFlash is designed to work hand in hand with Divi Builder but it also plays nicely with other plugins.
We were running a caching plugin, security plugin, image gallery plugin and an eCommerce plugin and saw no issues or incompatibilities with any of them.
We also tested running DiviFlash with Elementor instead of Divi Builder.
While you obviously cannot use any of the Divi resources, there were no issues with page loading or any downsides that we saw.
We’re confident that using DiviFlash won’t impact a website unless it’s using a particular exotic theme or plugin.
DiviFlash Pricing
DiviFlash is a premium plugin that costs from $39 per year. There are three plans, Personal, Business and Agency, each offering more features in return for more money.
The Personal Pack costs $39 per year and includes use on 1 website and access to all modules and layouts and 1 year of support.
The Business Pack has the same features for $89 but can be used on unlimited websites.
The Agency Pack is a one time payment of $299 for use on unlimited websites.
Considering how much is available, the price is quite reasonable.
All plans include a money back guarantee so your investment should be safe.
Pros of DiviFlash
There’s a lot to like about DiviFlash, including:
- Reflects the same design as Divi Builder – If you have used Divi Builder before, you’ll be instantly familiar with DiviFlash. All the modules integrate with Divi Builder and look and feel the same. That’s one less thing to worry about or have to learn!
- Good mix of modules, templates and layouts – There are currently 43 modules, 16 templates and dozens of layouts to choose from. That’s a decent return on your investment if you’ll use them all.
- Good performance – Page builders have form for slowing down page load times, which can impact the user experience. Pages we built using Divi Builder and a couple of DiviFlash modules had no noticeable impact on page load times.
- Easy to use – Divi Builder is still some way behind Elementor in terms of ease of use, but it is still a pleasure to use. Once you’re used to how it all works, using the resources to build pages is easy. Just as long as you remember to save before you leave the page!
- Plenty of resources – The DiviFlash team has created a lot of documentation, including how-to guides and some videos. Each is well written and makes it easy to perform core tasks. There’s also access to support tickets if you really can’t figure something out.
Cons of DiviFlash
There are some downsides to DiviFlash, including:
- Other plugins offer similar functionality – While pricing is reasonable, there are other plugins out there that do the same for different pricing. Features will differ slightly of course, but there are lower priced alternatives. Having said that, DiviFlash is quite extensive and it's great to have most of the functions in one plugin rather than having to install many different 3rd party plugins which has brings about a range of issues.
- Importing resources isn’t intuitive – In other page builders, you can browse layouts and templates from within the builder and import them directly. Having to visit the DiviFlash website, select a template, download it, upload it and then use the Divi Library to use it is a little cumbersome.

DiviFlash – Verdict
Our verdict of DiviFlash is a very positive one.
If you’re a fan of Divi Builder and like their designs, DiviFlash is a no-brainer. It adds a ton of extra resources to help you build, expand or customize your website and integrates seamlessly into Divi Builder.
It also has no noticeable impact on page load speeds and doesn’t interfere with other WordPress plugins.
While it does cost money, we believe it provides good value for anybody who is working with Divi and is missing some of the desired functions offered by DiviFlash. The modules are well designed and well thought-out and the layouts and templates are equally good.
We wonder if it offers the same value for individual website owners as it does for agencies but time will tell on that one.
Overall, we think DiviFlash is a great buy if you make lots of websites or like to create different landing pages.
